Our formula uses a unique blend of highly concentrated meat proteins like lamb, chicken and Atlantic salmon. It’s important that meat makes up most of the protein in your pup’s diet so their body’s create naturally occurring amino acids like heart-healthy taurine. Ingredients are listed in order by weight with the most prominent listed in the top 5.
The digestibility of a pet food refers to how much of what’s eaten actually gets digested, used or absorbed by your pet’s body.
TLC Whole Life Puppy Food is over 82% digestible, making every bite count!
All TLC Whole Life Pet Food are formulated by professionally trained nutritionists who carefully choose each and every ingredient used in our food. TLC Whole Life Dog Food includes ancient whole grains, rich in vitamins and chosen for their dietary fiber and essential amino acids.
The FDA continues to investigate a potential link between so-called “grain-free” diets and DCM (dilated cardiomyopathy). None of TLC’s Whole Life Pet Food formulas are “grain-free”.
TLC Whole Life Puppy Food includes slightly more protein and fat to support growing puppies. It uses fewer ingredients for optimal digestion and is close enough to our Whole Life Dog Food formula to support a smooth transition.
Our general recommendation is to begin feeding adult food to your puppy by the time they reach 10 months of age or as recommended by your breeder or veterinarian. Ingredients are closely aligned to allow for a gentle switch over 3-5 days.
